Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. The staff will implement the Benchmark Advance reading curriculum and its various components to deliver comprehensive ELA instruction. Utilizing resources within Benchmark Advance for both remediation and enrichment, the staff will tailor small group sessions to meet students at their individual levels. Teachers will employ Benchmark Advance for both general reading instruction and focused small group activities.
Support staff will further assist by providing additional small group instruction and monitoring progress, specifically targeting the lowest 25% of students, Students with Disabilities (SWD), those not meeting adequate annual progress, and retained students. The support and administrative teams will identify these specific groups and assess their current academic levels. Once identified, the support staff will determine the particular areas where these students require additional support. Teachers will receive curriculum guidance to enhance their instruction.
To ensure progress, students will be placed in the Response to Intervention (RtI) program, where they will receive continual monitoring as needed. Both classroom teachers and support staff will facilitate small group instruction aimed at fostering academic growth. The administrative and leadership teams will oversee and monitor the effectiveness of the instruction and interventions, ensuring that progress is being made. This collaborative effort between teachers, support staff, and the administration will help provide a structured and supportive learning environment for all students, especially those in need of additional assistance.
