| Evidence-based Interventions/Strategies: What was each Intervention/Strategy’s identified strengths and weaknesses? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Teachers found contiunually spiralling back to the weakest benchmarks as an effective method but were facing challenges remediating while trying to stay on pace. Math tutoring has been effective for students who attend. However, the majority of students who need remediation are not attending tutoring after school. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| New Actions: Describe any new actions that are needed to accomplish the intended outcome for the Area of Focus. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Geometry students in the lower quartile are being provided with 45 minutes of remediation on the weakest banchmerks during study hall (February - May). Algebra 1 students in the lower quartile will receive five 90-minute remediation sessions in the weakest benchmarks during foundations classes (April - May). Teachers will use the BSA 3 data to create individual crunch-time remediation plans based on their students' weakest areas (April - May). |
