Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. Students who are in the Response to Intervention (RTI) process will attend a daily reading intervention group, as a walk to read, in addition to their daily 90-minute reading block. Students will be selected based on iready reading diagnostic, STAR, and FAST scores. The groups will be created by placing students with similar scores and reading needs together. Interventions will focus on reading fluency, phonics, comprehension, or all areas of reading. Each grade level has designated a 30-minute intervention block. Every six weeks teachers will meet with the RTI team to discuss each student’s progress and if they are responding positively to the intervention process. Student grouping will be reassessed after PM2 and iready diagnostic 2 to ensure that the students are in groups targeting their needs. |

Is the Intended Outcome on target to being achieved for this specific Goal? | Yes
Is desired progress being made to accomplish the intended outcome for this Goal by the end of the school year? | No
Provide evidence of the implementation challenges and barriers the school encountered during the Fall semester. Describe the changes made to address these challenges and barriers.
What were the identified strengths and weaknesses of each completed action step during implementation?
Describe the new action steps needed to accomplish the intended outcome for the Goal.
What measures were used to determine if the strategies/interventions were effective?
Students in grade 3-5 partcipated in the FAST ELA PM2. The average proficency score in PM1 was 45%, in PM2 it is now 60%. That is a 15% increase from PM1 to PM2. The previous years' PM2 average was 54%, we are 6% higher then last year at this time of year.
What further action steps must be continued, or added, to sustain the Intended Outcome?
Students in grades K-5 who scored below proficiency will continue to be monitiored through the Response to Intervention Process. Students in the RTI process attend a daily reading intervention group in addition to their 90 minute reading block. The RTI team meets to discuss student progress and next steps for each student every six weeks.
What steps could be taken to improve results with this strategy/intervention for low-performing subgroups?
Students in 3-5 who have already been identified also attend a daily reading intervention in addition to their reading block and services. Parents are continously updated on their child's progress in regards to RTI by the RTI team. Classroom teachers will continue to meet with their team to discuss and analyze data to make adjustments to interbention groups as necessary.
What evidence indicates that you are progressing toward the Intended Outcome?
Provide evidence that the data indicates a need for additional interventions to yield success in achievement, growth or to address learning loss.
What further action steps must be continued, or added, to sustain the Intended Outcome? Is the scheduling of interventions sufficient to meet the needs of specified subgroups and low performing students?
