Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. Students demonstrating significant reading deficiencies will receive Tier 1 reading instruction from a highly qualified educator in both whole group and small group formats. Additionally, qualified instructors will administer diagnostic assessments to identify specific areas of weakness. Based on these results, students will receive targeted interventions using:
All retained students will receive focused interventions addressing their areas of need at least three times per week. These sessions will be led by a reading-endorsed teacher using research-based strategies and resources. Student progress will be monitored through the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) process to ensure appropriate academic growth. To address behavioral challenges, our school has implemented a schoolwide Positive Behavior Plan. This plan is designed to teach, motivate, and reinforce positive behaviors, creating a supportive environment that promotes student success. |
