Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. Academic Coaches and Teachers conduct pull-outs and push-ins to assist those students struggling in Reading and Math. Also, all students are assigned to a case manager when they enroll in Cypress Run. The case managers meet with the students weekly to discuss behavior and academics. Teachers and students participate in data chats, course recovery, and competency based courses. Teachers participate in bi-weekly professional development to assist with gradual release, teaching strategies and ways to effectively implement differentiated instruction. |
