Early Warning Indicators

Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system.

Our school uses the following progress monitoring tools/assessments: FAST Progress Monitoring for PM 1, 2, and 3, Benchmark Advance Unit Assessments administered every three weeks, Beginning, Middle, and End of Year Science assessments and various subject End of the Year Tests adminstered in May.

The following instructional materials are used at our school: Benchmark Advance, Benchmark Advance Intervention tools, Saavas, Envision, Early Reading Intervention (Intervention), Quick Reads (Intervention) and Integrated Learning Systems- iReady (grades 2-5), Imagine Learning (grades 2-5), Reflex Math, Sora by Overdrive, Scholastic digital resources (Remediation/Enrichment)

At Everglades Elementary, we consistently strive to reduce student chronic absenteeism by using interventions that are outlined in the current attendance plan based on data collected by and provided by the district.

Our school ensures fidelity by meeting with instructional staff on a regular basis to disaggregate data and plan curriculum in order to meet the needs of all students. These meetings include regular monthly Faculty Meetings, Leadership Meetings, Data Chats, RtI and Professonal Learning Communities. Our school ensures that all classroom instruction is accessible to a full range of learners through use of Differentiated Instruction, Small Group Instruction, Integrated Learning Systems, Multimedia Presentations, and a variety of classrooms resources and digital devices.
