Early Warning Indicators

Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system.

Spring 2025 PM3 ELA Data Summary & Action Plan

Based on the Spring 2025 PM3 ELA data:

  • 56% of K–2 students scored below Level 3.

  • 54% of 3rd–5th grade students scored below Level 3.

To address these learning gaps, identified students will be invited to participate in our Extended Learning Opportunity (ELO) Camp and receive targeted instructional support during the school day.

Progress Goals

  • By May 2026, at least 60% of K–2 scholars will score Level 3 or higher on the Spring 2026 PM3 ELA assessment.

  • By May 2026, at least 55% of 3rd–5th grade scholars will score Level 3 or higher on the Spring 2026 PM3 ELA assessment.

Student progress will be monitored weekly through i-Ready Reading checkpoints. Instructional coaches and administrators will meet weekly to analyze data and adjust instruction as needed.

Targeted Support

  • All K–5 students scoring below Level 3 on the Fall 2025 PM1 or identified on the Lowest Quartile List will attend the S.W.A.G. ELO Camp.

  • Progress will be monitored using:

    • i-Ready Reading

    • Star Early Literacy (Grades K–2)

    • Florida FAST PM Assessments (Grades 3–5)

    • Benchmark Advance Unit Assessments for daily progress aligned to the B.E.S.T. Standards

Results will guide instructional decisions and help the leadership team identify students needing additional support.

Instructional Materials & Strategies

All instructional materials and strategies align with the District-Adopted K–12 Comprehensive Evidence-Based Reading Plan, which supports the implementation of the B.E.S.T. Standards and is grounded in research-based practices.

  • Teachers will use the Benchmark Advance curriculum and evidence-based strategies for daily instruction.

  • i-Ready will be used to address specific skill gaps, with weekly checkpoints informing instructional adjustments.

  • The leadership team will review data weekly in collaboration with instructional coaches and teachers.

Action Steps

  1. Leadership Team will collect, monitor, and analyze student data to identify gaps in standards mastery.

  2. Based on the data, the team will collaborate with teachers to implement targeted, research-based strategies and interventions.

  3. Ongoing professional development will support teachers in delivering high-quality, data-driven instruction.
