Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. Students who are identified as having a reading deficiency will be pulled out the literacy resource teachers and/or our ESE support facilitators. Students in 1st and 2nd grade receive targeted intervention instruction based on the Broward County Diagnostic Assessment. Our 3-5 grade students in the lowest quartile and/or identified as having a reading deficiency will also be assessed using the Broward County Diagnostic Assessment and receive targeted intervention instruction in Magnetic, Reading Horizons, and/or Benchmark Intervention and their progress is tracked using the FAST assessment and program embedded assessments. Students who are ESE and have a reading goal receive services from one of our three ESE Support Facilitators in Fundations, Heggerty, Wilson, and/or Rewards. In the area of math, the resource teacher and ESE support facilitators will utilize materials found in Envision, iReady Tool Box, and the MDIS Kit to support students with math deficiencies. |
