Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. Based on the indicators teachers in Grades 2, 3, and 4, will focus on assessing student needs, setting clear learning goals, planning targeted lessons, establishing routines, and providing ongoing assessment and feedback. The school will provide data driven small group instruction and targeted intervention in ELA to increase student achievement. The impact of this action step will be monitored using classroom walkthrough and observation data. Teachers will implement Benchmark Advance Intervention and SIPPS to close deficiency gaps in reading. The school will provide a Literacy Launch professional development to review the Science of Reading Part III for students in K-5 utilizing the comprehensive evidence-based reading plan. During team meetings and Professional Learning Communities student data will be monitored to track progress and evaluate the effectiveness of the interventions. |
