Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system.

Classroom visits is one of the most impactful ways to monitor the desired outcome. Administrators and instructional coaches will conduct classroom visits daily to monitor instructional practices and student achievement. The coaching cycle is another tool that will be used by instructional coaches to provide support to all teachers as it relates to lesson planning, instruction, and progress monitoring.

Data analysis meetings are conducted every 3 weeks with classroom teachers, instructional coaches and administrators. Teachers analyze their scholar's data and collaborate with the leadership team to discuss and determine how to modify their instructional practices (i.e. remediation, enrichment) to fit the needs of their students.

The ESE Specialist will ensure that all students with disabilities receive their appropriate accommodations as identified on their IEP. The ESE Specialist will also ensure that the ESE Facilitator provides small group instruction in alignment with each student's IEP. 

Benchmark Advance resources will be used to provide Tier 1 for all scholars. Resources from this program will also be used for Tier 2 interventions. Reading Horizons and Heggerty will be used by reading endorsed teachers for students who need Tier 3 interventions.

In addition, the science of reading refers to the accumulated evidence of gold-standard research on the process of literacy acquisition and reading instruction. This body of evidence combines research from multiple disciplines, including neuroscience, linguistics, education, and psychology. The science of reading and Structured Literacy go hand in hand—Structured Literacy is the in-class application of the science of reading. Teachers in grades kindergarten to fifth grade will utilize the science of reading.
