Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. Parkside will identify all students in our lowest 30% of achievement in reading and math. We performed the BCPS Reading Diagnostic assessments on all of our students who fell in this category to determine which gaps they needed more instruction in. From that data, we were able to create different groups for remediation to get them ready for the next level of instruction. We will implement several reading interventions and use several assessments for data through the MTSS process including Benchmark Advance, STAR Early Literacy/Reading, FAST ELA, Reading Horizons, SIPPS, and i-Ready Reading. In Math, we utilize the enVision Intervention System and i-Ready. For ELL students, Imagine Learning is our language support intervention. |
