Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. At Davie Elementary we used the Comprehensive Evidence-based Reading Plan (CERP) Decision Tree to create groups in phonological awareness, phonics,fluency vocabulary and comprehensiion. We also align our intervention strategies to the School Board of Broward County CERP Plan. (CERP) The resources support the growth of all students specifically students in the lowest quartile, students with several early warning indicators. The school employees an additional intervention/enrichment block across the school so that students get "what they need" using approved resources on the CERP plan to remediate their gaps in knowledge from previous grades. |
