According to our data, the lowest performance at Hollywood Park Elementary in 2025 was our second grade students. 52% percent of our students in second grade scored below level 3 on the STAR PM3 assessment. To ensure that we decrease our percent of students that scored below the 50th percentile rank, we will make adjustments to the instructional plan and use data to guide our decision making. In addition to making data driven instructional practice adjustments, students will be screened to identify deficiencies in each early literacy domain. Students will be given targeted intervention instruction to ensure that the academic gap is closed. All teachers will be trained in the most recent research based best practice (science of reading), to ensure that students are receiving the most effective Tier 1 instruction to meet our goal. We will use on going progress monitoring to make sure we are moving towards our goal.

Attendance was also identified as having a high percentage. Students identified as having more then 10% of absenses were referred to the social worker. The social worker contacted families to provide support in improving shool attendance. Students' attendence is monitored through the RTI process and discussed with all members of the CPST team. Any students identified have an attendance behavior plan through MTSS to help us monitor progress and document all conversations/progress.
