Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. Academic Interventions• Small-Group Instruction: Across K–5, students flagged by EWS receive explicit, targeted small-group instruction guided by FAST, i-Ready, and Benchmark Advance data. Teachers implement interventions during designated blocks for Tier 2 and Tier 3 students.• Evidence-Based Reading Programs: - Benchmark Advance – targeted instruction in phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. - Reading Horizons Discovery/Elevate – systematic phonics and decoding for K–5. - SIPPS – Tier 2/3 intervention accelerating mastery of phonological awareness, phonics, and sight words. • Science Interventions: 5th grade students receive additional support through HMH Florida Statewide Science Assessment Review & Practice, project-based learning, and hands-on tasks. Interventions emphasize small-group instruction and interdisciplinary connections with literacy and math. • Progress Monitoring: Weekly PLCs, monthly data chats, classroom walkthroughs, and diagnostic assessments ensure that interventions are continuously adjusted based on student progress. 2. Attendance Interventions• Parent workshops provide parents with strategies and resources to support learning, reinforce literacy, math, and science at home.• Monitoring: Attendance data and EWS indicators are reviewed monthly by the Attendance Team to track and support students with chronic absenteeism. 3. Behavioral & SEL Interventions• Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS): Schoolwide framework promoting consistent expectations, positive reinforcement, and tiered behavioral supports.• Positive Referral and Incentive System: Students receive recognition for meeting behavioral expectations, with monthly incentives and celebrations. • Check-Ins & Data Reviews: Discipline data and PBIS referral trends are reviewed monthly. Students showing multiple risk indicators in EWS are prioritized for Tier 2/3 supports. 4. Family & Community Engagement• Families are engaged through Parent Workshop series, and SAC feedback sessions.• Workshops and events are designed to align with SIP goals (literacy, math, science achievement, and attendance improvement). 5. Leadership & Monitoring• Monthly Leadership Team Data Chats: Used to track implementation of interventions and adjust action steps.• Instructional Coaches & Curriculum Facilitator: Provide professional learning, model lessons, and ensure interventions are implemented with fidelity. • MTSS Integration: EWS data is embedded into the school’s MTSS framework, ensuring interventions are aligned to student needs across academics, behavior, and attendance. |
