Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system.

All scholars identified as  working below grade level based on the 2024-2025 FAST assessment will receive additional 30-minute small group intensive instruction in reading or math by our support staff. All retained students in third grade are being provided an additional half hour of small group reading with our Literacy resource teacher using approved research based materials. In addition, students are provided the opportunity to participate in before and after school ELO camps to received additional targeted instructions in ELA or Math. In addition MTSS (RtI) is held weekly to further discuss fragile students and prescribe interventions to assist with attendance, tardies, behaviors and suspensions. Tedder Elementary has a full time school counselor, social worker, and a additional counselor to assist with students that had the highest referral rate.

Data chats are held with teachers, support staff, and administration to discuss the needs of each scholar. Teachers also conduct data chats with students and set goals. Students have guidelines for success incentive cards that help them track their process in the areas of mini assessments, behavior, Success Maker and homework. Students earn incentives for achievement, and are celebrated
