| Evidence: Provide evidence of the implementation challenges the school encountered during the Fall semester. Describe the changes made to address these challenges. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| As assessed by FAST PM 2, 50% of our third-fifth graders are proficienct in ELA. The amount of implementation challenges the school encountered during the Fall semester were few, but we did face a critical challenge. Our school-wide intervention block is from 8:10-8:40 A.M. Students in our lowest 30%ile were arriving late to school causing them to miss parts of the intervention. The problem was resolved by administration meeting with parents to remind them of the importance of arriving to school on time. If a student was tardy more than 3 times a call was made by the school social worker to build the home/school connection and remove barriers to tardiness. |

| New Actions: Describe any new actions that are needed to accomplish the intended outcome for the Area of Focus. | |||||||||||||||||||||
| New action steps that that are needed to accomplish our intended outcome for the area of focus was analyzing PM 2 data and creating a strategic plan for each individual student based on areas of deficiency. Our literacy coach, support team, and administration pull-out students four times a week for 30-minute sessions to remediate weak standards. |

| As of January 2026, 39% of kindergarten through second grade students have reached proficiency on the STAR Reading Assessment. The amount of implementation challenges the school encountered during the Fall semester were few, but we did face a criticical challenge. Our school-wide intervention block is from 8:10-8:40 A.M. | Evidence-based Interventions/Strategies: What was each Intervention/Strategy’s identified strengths and weaknesses? | |||||||||||||||||||||
| 1. Daily school-wide ELA intervention block: A major strength was providing students in the lowest 30%ile with intensive research based interventions which resulted in overall student' growth. The challenge was ensuring all students arrived to school on time to recieve the entirety of the intervention. 2. UFLI is utilized as tier 1 instruction in grades K-2nd. The benefits of utilizing UFLI is that it provides a systematic approach to teaching phoncs. The challenge was the time and funding it took to train all kindergarten through second grade teachers. |
