Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system.

Intervention strategies include:
Attendance-  include monitoring the effectiveness of the SPARKS team  in monitoring students' attendance, meeting with parents to offer and provide services to help with decreasing student absenteeism, having pareents of students who have 5 absences sign an attendance agreement, and refering for BTIP after 10 absences.  We will also work to improve communication and build relationships with families to establish a stronger home-school connection.

1 or more suspensions- include utilization of School Guidance Counselor and School Social Worker to provide mentoring groups and meet with students displaying behavioral issues to better understand behaviors,  improvement of our peer groups like the Mentoring Tomorrow Leaders program, establishing an effective Safety Patrol Program, building stronger adult-student mentoring relationships, and having Behavior Assemblies at least twice per year.

*  Response to Intervention- to provide intervention and resources to students experiencing academic and attendance issues.
*  School Social Worker Team to address attendance issues and work with parents to eliminate barriers to regular school attendance.
*  Incentives for regular school attendance
*  Parent conferences to discuss students' academic strengths and/ or challenges, as well as attendance
Additionally:
-Small group instruction iin the classroom
-Small group push-in and pull-out support from Support Staff
-Strategic Planning for teachers using the data to inform instruction
-Data chats with teachers and with students
-Parent Conferences
-Title 1 Family Nights on Academics and Testing
-Incentive Parties for increases in academics
