Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. Students that were identified as working below grade level based on the 2024-2025 FAST or STAR assessment will receive additional 30-minute small group intensive instruction in reading or math by our support staff. All retained students in third grade are being provided an additional half hour of small group reading with our Literacy resource teacher using approved research based materials. In addition, students are provided the opportunity to participate in before and after school ELO camps to received additional targeted instructions in ELA or Math. In addition MTSS (RtI) is held weekly to further discuss fragile students and prescribe interventions to assist with attendance, tardies, behaviors and suspensions. Data chats are held with teachers, support staff, and administration to discuss the needs of each student and to make adjustments as needed. |
