Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. To improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning systems, several intervention strategies are being employed at Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School . As a school, we are addressing reading deficiency by allowing school leadership to provide support and monitor Tier 1 instruction, monitor student progress utilizing various school, district, and state assessments such as Benchmark Advance unit assessments, iReady Diagnostics, and the FAST Progress Monitoring. Data will be analyzed, and decisions will be made to ensure students are making progress toward the goal. Teachers will participate in teacher-led professional learning communities that are driven by student data and teacher needs. Teachers will also participate in front-loading planning sessions with the academic coaches. |
