Using the data below, describe all intervention strategies employed by the school to improve the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system. The Quest Center will bridge the performance gap and increase the academic performance of students identified by the early warning system through the implementation of various research based intervention strategies. Identified students receive additional small group and one-to-one instruction in reading and math through pull-out provided by support facilitator. Also, we offer academic remediation and enrichment specials that reinforce the ELA and Math on the Florida Standards at an Access Points. Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework is utilized to improve and optimize learning for our students. Various Interventions and strategies utilized include multiple visual choices, vocabulary preview, visual-task schedules, gradual guidance, structured options, and teacher modeling academic task. Due to our students, severe cognitive impairments modified text are used to access the Florida Standards. |
