Unexcused Absences
Unexcused Absent - 157,060 minutes
Specific plan to be implemented:
After 5 unexcused absents parents will receive the 5 day BTIP from the State Attorney’s Office.
Administration will conference with parents and or guardians. After 10 unexcused absents parents will receive the 10 day BTIP from the State Attorney’s Office. This letter will have a date to meet at the state attorney’s office, the social worker would contact the parent/guardian.
Charges can be filed if the agreement was not followed.
How to implement:
IMT will enter all attendance information into Pinnacle and Monitor Unexcused Absences Daily.
School Social Worker and Head Start Social Worker will make home visits to verify student addresses and provide resources for parents/guardians.
Administration will monitor attendance reports monthly and will meet with parents/guardians to discuss patterns of unexcused absences.

Excessive Excused Absences
(5 or more in a single month)
Excessive Excused Absences 170,180 minutes
Specific plan to be implemented:
After 5 or excused absents in a month parents will recieve a phone call and a letter to check on the students status and to offer school socail worker assistance.
How to implement:
IMT will enter all attendence information into Pinnacle and Monitor Unexcused Absences Daily.
Administration will monitor attendance reports monthly and will meet with parents/guardians to discuss patterns of unexcused absences.

Tardiness - 7924 minutes
Specific plan to be implemented:
After 5 Tardy Phone Call Home after 10 Tardy a face to face meeting with School Social Worker or Head Start Social Worker
How to implement:
Clerk will write tardy passes beginning at 8:05.
IMT will enter all attendence information into Pinnacle to Monitor Tardiness.
Administration will monitor attendance reports monthly and will meet with parents/guardians to discuss patterns of unexcused absences.

Specific plan to be implemented:
After 5 Early Sign Outs Phone Call Home after 10 Early Sign Outs a face to face meeting with School Social Worker or Head Start Social Worker.
How to implement:
Strategicalluy Post the school board policy on Early Sign Out.
Clerk and or IMT will document Early Sign Out in Binder.
IMT will enter all early sign out information into Pinnacle to Monitor Early Sign Out.
Administration will monitor attendance reports monthly and will meet with parents/guardians to discuss patterns of early sign out.
